Ingram requesting country of manufacture, harmonized code

To ingest the data, populate the (1) harmonized_code and (2) country_of_manufacture columns of the “product_formats” ingestion template.

To verify the data, navigate to the Product Formats module (Admin > Catalog > Products > Product Formats). In the “Packaging” section, consult the values in the (1) “US Commodity Code” and (2) “Country of Manufacture” fields.

Note:

• The Harmonized Code value is output in the ONIX package as a ProductClassificationCode composite with type set to 01 (see ONIX List 9: Product classification type). Only the first 6 digits are used, no periods or other punctuation.

• The Harmonized Code value is output in the ONIX 3 package as a ProductClassificationCode composite with type set to 14 (see ONIX List 9: Product classification type). The value must be 10 digits exactly, no periods or other punctuation.

• The Country of Manufacture value is output in the ONIX 3 package only in a CountryOfManufacture element (acceptable values defined by ONIX List 91: Country)
