If TitleLeaf fails to process your MARC file while creating a collection analysis report, try the following procedure.
Convert your MARC file
Preliminary: Download and install the MarcEdit application
Locate MARC file to fix (eg, sample.mrc)
Open MarcEdit3
Open MARC Tools
Select Operation: MarcBreak
Select Data to Process:
Open: sample.mrc
Save As: sample-tmp.mrk
Click "Execute" button
If successful, "Results" at bottom of window will confirm.
Close MARC Tools window
Open MarcEditor
Select menu item File > Open
Select the newly created "sample-tmp.mrk" file
Select menu item File > Compile Options > Compile file to MARC
Save as "sample-fixed.mrc"
If successful, close the MarcEditor window and quit the MarcEdit application.
Import into TitleLeaf
Login
Navigate to Your Account > Manage your collection analysis reports
Click "New Report"
Specify the newly created "sample-fixed.mrc" file
Specify a name for the report
Click "Create"
Wait for email notification that processing is complete (25MB files takes 15 minutes to process).
Assign report to another user
If a customer has requested assistance
Obtain file from customer
Follow process above using your admin account
Upon successful processing of the file, navigate to Admin > Sales > Collection Analysis
Find the report that you created
Click the report name in the list of reports to view the report details
Click the "Edit Marc Report" link in the right sidebar
Change the "User" from you to the customer in question
Click "Save"
Send email to customer that their report is available.
