Allow Backorders

Temporarily out-of-stock product formats (status = “OS”) cannot normally be added to Carts, Lists, Quotes and therefore, by extension, cannot be ordered. To override this setting, navigate to Admin > Management > Settings > Product. Change the “Allow Backorder?” value from “No” to “Yes”.
