Deleting ingestions

Deleting ingestions

Deleting an ingestion deletes the statistics on the ingestion, the ingestion file and, if present, the associated ingestion log. It does not delete the records (products, product formats, categories, contributors, etc) that the ingestion created or updated.

Deleting records from TitleLeaf is discouraged, in general. Deleting an ingestion record, in specific, is more highly discouraged because it erases information that can be used to diagnose what caused a certain change within application overall.
