Public Threshold

The “public threshold” is an internal setting, defined on site setup. It is a variable in the calculation determining whether a product format is visible on the public site or not.

Acceptable values:

• In Print – Status of ACT, NYP (if preordering is enabled), or OS (if backordering is enabled)

• Announceable – Announce date has been achieved

• Buyable – Release date has been achieved or preorder date has been achieved (if preordering is enabled), and ebook is available (if applicable)

These checks are in addition to the visibility of the product, the format, and the product format.
